Writer's block

Postby sampearce » Sun Feb 21, 2010 6:50 am

Hi,
I just wanted to share my pain and moan about a serious writer's block that I am suffering from at the moment! I have to get something down on paper before Tuesday...but I am just not finding any inspiration to write at the moment!

Help :(

Well, it's well past Tuesday, but I just wondered whether you recovered from your writer's block?

Hi Jo,

Thanks for asking. Do you know what I didn't!! I just can't seem to get past it - I can't get started. Any ideas?

Hi Sam,

I read somewhere that a good way to avoid writer's block is to always finish a writing session by producing a plan about how you intend to move your work on when you next sit down to write. It doesn't have to be in massive detail, just enough to get your creative juices flowing the next time you start writing.

It's worth a go!
