Hello and welcome to the forum!

Was just wondering whether you've started writing and if so what stage you are at?

I'm struggling to get past the planning process and am looking for some motivation!

Regards

Jo

Hi,

Welcome to the forum! Any help you need just shout!

Sorry to hear you're struggling to get started Jo. I know what you mean - sometimes it can feel more comfortable to just keep planning, and planning, and planning! I don't know if this will help, but when I write I don't always write in chronological order...so sometimes I will start writing from the middle of the plot line rather than starting with an introduction, or sometimes I try to build up sections of description or conversation between characters, and then weave this into a fuller chapter a little later.

Hi Sam,

That sounds like really good advice; I often know where I want the story to go but have no idea how to get there, so this sounds like a good approach. I'll give it a try and let you know how I get on.

Thanks!
