Merger of boutique search firms creates compelling proposition for recruiters

Respected financial services search firms Healy Hunt and Jared James have merged to create Corbel Group – an amalgamation of specialist practices offering intelligence-led recruitment solutions to the financial services sector. The merger will also create what the directors call ‘a compelling proposition’ not only for their clients who will have access to unrivalled industry knowledge and expertise, but also for both existing and potential staff. The two firms have complementary practice areas – Healy Hunt focuses on banking, legal and investment management while Jared James specialises in the global markets and advisory arena. Additionally, Healy Hunt has a global trade & transaction banking practice through its existing joint venture with Exporta GTR, the global leader in events and publishing for the trade, commodity and export finance sectors. This will become part of Corbel Group under the name of Global Trade Search (GTS). The merger has also facilitated the launch of Corbel Search which brings together our new global energy & commodities practice with our established legal practice. From our new international base in Hong Kong, Corbel Group brings together our entire suite of specialist executive search practices to focus on clients operating in Asian markets.
