Realex to create 50 jobs in Ireland

Realex payments has announced that it is undertaking a recruitment drive to fill 50 vacancies urgently.

Realex Payments provides an outsourced arrangement to financial institutions for its retailer’s online payment processing.

Realex Payments is expected to double its client base from 5,000 to 10,000 retailers over the next 12 months.

The majority of the new roles will be based in the company’s Monkstown office and are across various business areas, including customer service, product management and IT.

CEO and founder of Realex Payments, Colm Lyon said “Over the last few years, we have invested heavily in expanding our operations throughout Europe – our UK business is now boarding almost 100 retailers a month, we opened in Paris earlier this year and are now live processing into local French banks.

Revenue increased 10%, reaching €7.6m for the year ending 30 April 2010.
