The Commonwealth Writers feature at the Hay Festival for the first time this year, with the winners of the Commonwealth Book Prize and Commonwealth Short Story Prize being announced in Hay on Friday 8 June by previous winner Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche.
Granta online will be running the shortlisted short stories in the run-up to the annoucement of the winner of the Commonwealth Writers Prizes on 8 June.
